Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis to support executive, finance, and operations leadership with world-class financial analyses and insights into performance. You will collect, manage, analyze, and disseminate financial information to drive strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes developing financial models and KPI reporting, analyzing P&L variances, and partnering with leaders to improve profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
0–2 years of related experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning.
Experience with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization/BI tools.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements financial models and KPI reports.
Analyzes P&L statements, explains variances, and monitors actions.
Performs trend and sensitivity analyses.
Prepares and participates in financial discussions with business leaders.
Partners with leaders to drive profitability through analysis and reporting.
Identifies and drives process improvements, including reports, tools, dashboards.
Performs customer and product profitability analysis.
Develops automated reporting and modeling tools.
Assists in executive presentations.
Leads/participates in ad hoc projects.
