Job summary

EAB, a leading education research and advisory firm, seeks an Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis in Washington, DC. You will work with senior executives, including the CFO, to model budgets, forecast performance, and report on financial results for internal and external stakeholders.

You will build financial models and dashboards, monitor performance against targets, and support ad-hoc analyses. A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field and at least 1 year of

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
Minimum 1+ years of professional experience.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience with budgeting software.
Experience developing financial models.
Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience using quantitative tools to analyze business data.
Discretion handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Support annual budgeting by modeling and analyzing goals across the firm and departments.
Support development and maintenance of infrastructure for rapid reporting and analysis of key metrics.
Create and maintain dashboards analyzing performance against metrics like cost, revenue and margin targets.
Manage components of financial projections, monitor performance against forecast, and assist with soft close/quarter end projections; perform ad-hoc analysis.
