Job summary

InterBel Telephone Cooperative is seeking a highly analytical FP&A Analyst to support the CFO with financial planning, monthly close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis. You will analyze financial and operational data from ERP, OSS/BSS, billing, and other systems to provide actionable insights to leadership.

Ideal candidates understand data flows across finance and operations, identify trends, and present clear business implications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with financial analysis, FP&A, reporting, or related analytical discipline.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, large datasets, complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial models.
• Experience using BI platforms to analyze data and develop reports, dashboards, or visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist CFO with monthly close and financial reporting packages.
• Analyze monthly results including variances to budget and prior periods.
• Develop dashboards and supporting analyses for leadership and the Board.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Create financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for investigation.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and projects.
