Job summary

World’s Finest Chocolate is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join the Finance team. The role focuses on quantitative analysis of profitability and investment returns for the Canadian Fund and Corporate, with responsibility for semi-annual budget processes.

You will combine cross-functional collaboration, advanced Excel modeling, and timely forecasting to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years in corporate finance, ideally supporting business segments.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate financial results to stakeholders in writing or verbally.
• Lead forecasting with the Canada Fund team and summarize changes.
• Prepare internal/ external forecasts and annual budgets.
• Provide commentary on forecast changes and performance.
• Monitor KPIs and analyze variances to identify drivers.
• Track expenses vs budget and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Build financial models to inform strategies and opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT on reporting systems needed for operations.
• Support management with in-depth analysis and recommendations.
• Automate large data sets in Excel using pivots and VLOOKUPs.
• Develop timelines for budget and LCE processes.
• Collect department reports and oversee two rounds of budget approvals.
• Compile monthly YTD analysis against corporate expectations.
• Handle ad hoc requests.
