Job summary

Salomon North America is seeking a Financial Analyst – Salomon B2B Softgoods in Ogden, UT to join the FP&A team. You will develop and maintain financial controlling and reporting for the US and Canada B2B Soft Goods, including footwear, apparel, bags and socks, with exposure to sales trends, margins and inventory analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A experience or financial modeling with strong Excel and financial metrics.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP FICO and BI systems is a plus.
• Experience with Claude AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support GTM budgeting and forecasting with the Business Controller, regional sales and commercial teams.
• Analyze sales, margins, operating expenses and inventory trends; drive actions to meet targets.
• Assist with month-end close processes including journal entries, OPEX control and GM analysis in SAP.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to support decision making on channels, customers, programs, etc.
• Enhance management reporting to communicate financial performance and profitability.
• Conduct key account analysis and inventory turnover/sell-through analysis.
• Coordinate with Ecom Merchandising and Marketing teams for planning.
• Be curious and think about the business as if you own it.
