Job summary

Amer Sports, the parent company behind Salomon North America, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Business Controlling Team. The role focuses on FP&A, budgeting, and reporting for B2B softgoods in the US and Canada, including footwear, apparel, bags, and socks.

You will build financial models, analyze trends, margins and operating costs, and support month-end close and governance with regional teams, SAP/BI tools, and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A experience or financial modeling.
• Strong Excel skills and financial metrics knowledge.
• Ability to build business cases.
• Excellent analytical and attention to detail.
• Strong planning, organizing and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP FICO and BI systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Claude AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support GTM budgeting and forecasting with regional teams.
• Analyze sales trends, margins, OPEX and inventory.
• Prepare and report financial results and ad-hoc analyses.
• Contribute to month-end close and GM analysis.
• Support S&OP process and finance liaison with marketing.
• Maintain management reporting and governance materials.
