Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an AVP level Finance Professional in the SSIM central FP&A team to lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the IM business. You willown the production of management reporting and analytics for senior management and Investor Relations.

You will design and maintain Excel/PowerPoint models, leverage Tableau/Alteryx/Power BI, and partner with FP&A, IR, and Strategy teams to drive transparency and actionable insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in FP&A or related finance function.
• Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Experience with Tableau/Alteryx/Power BI for reporting.
• Experience using IBM Planning Analytics for planning.
• Asset Management knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for SSIM globally.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and IR earnings analysis.
• Analyze revenue and expenses; perform ad hoc analyses and variance analysis.
• Design and update Excel/PowerPoint financial packages; automate with BI tools.
• Collaborate with CFOs, Corporate FP&A, IR, Controllership, and Strategy teams.

Revenue Financial and Business Analyst Assistant Vice PresidentFP&A Group – SSIM FinanceJob DescriptionThis position is for an AVP level Finance Professional working in the State Street Investment Management (SSIM) central FP&A team with responsibility for all Management Reporting and Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Planning for the IM business.SSIM, the asset management division of State Street, is one of the largest asset managers globally, with ~$6 trillion in AUM, including over $2 trillion in ETFs.The role will report to the Vice President and Global Head of FP&A for the SSIM Business.As a key member of the central FP&A team, the person will be responsible for the production and dissemination of management information and value-added analytics to senior IM business management, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations.Responsibilities:Assist in all planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis for the SSIM business globallyPrepare various monthly and quarterly management reports and analysis including monthly presentations, quarterly IR earnings analysis, revenue and expense analytics, and other ad hoc reporting for the consolidated SSIM businesses.In partnership with SSIM Business Unit CFOs, monitor all aspects of financial tracking of strategic investments for the SSIM businessPartner with Corporate FP&A, Investor Relations, Controllership leaders and Corporate Strategy teams to provide transparency on SSIM financial performance to the broader State Street organizationAs a key advisor to the SSIM CFO, help identify strategic risks and opportunities and recommend courses of actionDesign, build, modify, and update Excel and PowerPoint based financial packages.
