Artemis is seeking a hands-on FP&A professional to build out its planning and analysis capabilities in Oregon. You will pull data from NetSuite, Shopify, and QuickBooks, build models from scratch, forecast, and report to the CEO, Controller, and leadership team.
You’ll own budgeting, variance analysis, and dashboards, while analyzing profitability by channel and product, and advising on strategic spending and pricing decisions. This role emphasizes autonomy and process improvement.
We are seeking a hands-on FP&A professional to join a growing organization and play a key role in building out its financial planning and analysis capabilities.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building, analyzing, and figuring things out independently. The ideal candidate can pull information from multiple systems, build models and analyses from the ground up, identify what the numbers are telling us, and clearly communicate those insights to the Controller, CEO, CMO, and other business leaders.
A major focus of the role will be channel profitability, forecasting, and understanding the financial impact and ROI of marketing and departmental spending. The position will also support broader budgeting, forecasting, product profitability, cost analysis, inventory, pricing, and operational planning.
This is a highly autonomous role. We are looking for someone who wants to create and improve processes, build tools and reporting, and take ownership, rather than simply maintain an existing FP&A function.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves working with financial and operational data across multiple systems, including:
What We're Looking For
Culture & Working Style
This is a fast-paced, hands-on environment with an engaged leadership team. The CEO and CMO are highly involved in the business, and this person will interact with them regularly.
We're looking for someone who is confident, intellectually curious, and willing to speak up. You should be comfortable giving your perspective in management meetings, challenging assumptions when appropriate, and explaining what the numbers mean—not simply reporting them.
The right person will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to build things from the ground up. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys creating models, processes, reporting, and analytical frameworks and wants to see their work directly influence business decisions.
