## FP&A AnalystApply: On-Site: Birmingham, AL, USA: Full time: Posted Today: R26\\_0000030343**Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis****SUMMARY:**The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis supports Motion's Executive, Finance, and Operational Leadership by contributing to world class financial analyses and providing thought-provoking, value-adding insight into the group's financial performance. Assists with the identification of operational improvement opportunities and drives decision- making by collecting, managing, analyzing, and disseminating financial information and analyses.**JOB DUTIES*** Designs and implements financial models and key performance indicator reports to drive value in the business.* Analyzes profit & loss statements, explains variances in performance, and monitors actions to ensure delivery of financial commitments.* Performs trend and sensitivity analysis to evaluate key challenges and opportunities.* Prepares and participates in financial and operational discussions with business leaders.* Serves as a business partner with various leaders to drive additional profitability through analysis and reporting.* Identifies and drives process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad- hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.* Performs customer and product profitability analysis.* Increases productivity by developing automated reporting and modeling tools.* Assists in the creation of executive presentations.* Leads and participates in ad hoc projects assigned by the manager.* Performs other duties as assigned.**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution and zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning.
