Job summary

CRH Americas is seeking an FP&A Analyst in Atlanta, GA for a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on management/financial reporting, data analytics, and ad-hoc analyses to support CRH Americas leadership.

The position collaborates with the corporate parent and operating businesses to deliver high-quality reporting and drive process improvements within the FP&A team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years working in Finance/Accounting in a corporate environment
• Proficient in managing large databases and multi-source transactional databases

Responsibilities

• Monthly actuals and forecasts reporting with variance explanations and insights for leadership
• Develop presentation materials for executive and board meetings and investor relations materials
• Gather macro-economic data and synthesize for internal consumption
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase productivity
• Data analytics and dashboard reporting; development and maintenance
• Consolidation of five-year strategic plan financial projections and annual budget process
• Build relationships with finance teams across operating companies and Group Finance
• CAPEX reporting and capital management support
• Adhoc analysis as requested

Job Summary

As part of the diversified CRH Americas, CRH plc, Americas Finance is currently recruiting for the position of FP&A Analyst. This role will work within the CRH Americas FP&A team based in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be tasked with various duties including management/financial reporting, data analytics, and ad-hoc analysis to support the CRH Americas leadership team.This role interacts with the corporate parent and operating businesses regularly with a focus on high-quality reporting as well as process improvement.

Job Location

This role is based at our corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA - hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Monthly actuals and forecast reporting and variance explanation, providing insights and highlighting key trends for leadership, and continuously seeking to improve reporting to deliver insights and drive decisions
• Develop presentation materials for executive and board level meetings as well as materials supporting investor relations
• Gathering macro-economic data and synthesizing for internal consumption
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase productivity
• Data analytics / dashboard reporting; development and maintenance
• Consolidation of five-year strategic plan financial projections and annual budget process
• Build relationships with the finance teams in the operating companies and Group Finance
• CAPEX reporting and supporting capital management initiatives
• Adhoc analysis and other duties as requested

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years working in Finance/Accounting in a corporate environment
• Proficient in managing large databases, multi-source transactional databases.
• Expert proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and validate financial and performance data, including from large datasets
• Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information and trends in multiple formats
• Experience using Oracle Cloud EPM and BI tools preferred
• Strong ethic of curiosity and continuous improvement
• Proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective manner
