Job summary

CRH plc Americas Finance in Atlanta is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the team in a hybrid office setting. You will handle monthly reporting, forecasting, data analytics, and ad-hoc analyses to drive high-quality insights for the leadership team.

The role requires a finance-focused degree and 3+ years in corporate finance, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and familiarity with Oracle Cloud EPM and BI tools. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across CRH entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in Finance/Accounting in a corporate environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM and BI tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical ability and capability to communicate financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monthly actuals and forecast reporting with variance explanations and insights for leadership.
• Develop executive and board materials; support investor relations presentations.
• Gather macro-economic data and synthesize for internal use.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
• Data analytics and dashboard reporting; maintain and enhance reporting systems.
• Consolidate five-year strategic plan financial projections and annual budget process.
• Collaborate with finance teams across operating companies and Group Finance.
• Support CAPEX reporting and capital management initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc analyses as needed.

Job Summary

As part of the diversified CRH Americas, CRH plc, Americas Finance is currently recruiting for the position of FP&A Analyst. This role will work within the CRH Americas FP&A team based in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be tasked with various duties including management/financial reporting, data analytics, and ad-hoc analysis to support the CRH Americas leadership team. This role interacts with the corporate parent and operating businesses regularly with a focus on high-quality reporting as well as process improvement.< /p>

Job Location

This role is based at our corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA - hybrid work schedule.< /p>

Job Responsibilities

• Monthly actuals and forecast reporting and variance explanation, providing insights and highlighting key trends for leadership, and continuously seeking to improve reporting to deliver insights and drive decisions
• Develop presentation materials for executive and board level meetings as well as materials supporting investor relations
• Gathering macro-economic data and synthesizing for internal consumption
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase productivity
• Data analytics / dashboard reporting; development and maintenance
• Consolidation of five-year strategic plan financial projections and annual budget process
• Build relationships with the finance teams in the operating companies and Group Finance
• CAPEX reporting and supporting capital management initiatives
• Adhoc analysis and other duties as requested

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years working in Finance/Accounting in a corporate environment
• Proficient in managing large databases, multi-source transactional databases.
• Expert proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and validate financial and performance data, including from large datasets
• Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information and trends in multiple formats
• Experience using Oracle Cloud EPM and BI tools preferred
• Strong ethic of curiosity and continuous improvement
• Proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective manner
