Job summary

PepsiCo in Smyrna, TN is hiring a route delivery and equipment installer to deliver and install fountain beverage systems at customer accounts. You will work Monday through Friday starting at 6am, with end time determined by workload, and be part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include installing equipment, loading and unloading, basic maintenance, educating customers, and completing paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• CDL Class A License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift, push/pull and move equipment weighing 800-1200 pounds for long shifts.

• Install fountain beverage systems from start to finish, including connecting lines and adjusting to the proper product mix.

• Educate customers on basic equipment upkeep, complete required paperwork/work orders, and follow DOT regulations (as applicable).

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and install vending and fountain equipment at customer locations using safe handling and proper tools
• Load and unload new and used equipment for daily deliveries, including moving large units at accounts as needed
• Install fountain beverage systems from start to finish, including connecting lines and adjusting to the proper product mix
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on vending/fountain equipment, following safety and quality standards
• Educate customers on basic equipment upkeep, complete required paperwork/work orders, and follow DOT regulations (as applicable)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid CDL Class A License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position requires lifting, pushing/pulling and moving vending/fountain machines that weigh approximately 800-1200 pounds several times over 10-12 hour period (with or without accommodation)
