Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a hands-on technician to deliver and install fountain beverage systems at customer accounts in Smyrna, TN. The role involves loading/unloading heavy equipment, connecting lines, and ensuring correct product mix while adhering to safety standards.

Expect on-the-job and classroom training, a fast-paced environment, and full-time hours with competitive benefits. Team members operate Monday–Friday, starting around 6am, with end times based on completion of tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install vending and fountain equipment at customer locations using safe handling and proper tools.
• Load and unload new and used equipment for daily deliveries, including moving large units as needed.
• Install fountain beverage systems end-to-end, including connecting lines and adjusting product mix.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on equipment following safety standards.
• Complete required paperwork/work orders and follow regulations as applicable.

Deliver and install fountain beverage systems at customer accounts to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely, accurately, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and install vending and fountain equipment at customer locations using safe handling and proper tools
• Load and unload new and used equipment for daily deliveries, including moving large units at accounts as needed
• Install fountain beverage systems from start to finish, including connecting lines and adjusting to the proper product mix
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on vending/fountain equipment, following safety and quality standards
• Educate customers on basic equipment upkeep, complete required paperwork/work orders, and follow DOT regulations (as applicable)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid CDL Class A License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position requires lifting, pushing/pulling and moving vending/fountain machines that weigh approximately 800-1200 pounds several times over 10-12 hour period (with or without accommodation)
