Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking a Delivery and Installation Technician to service fountain beverage systems at customer accounts. The role runs 6:00 a.m. start to 4:30 p.m. end, with a pay rate of $26.95 per hour and full-time benefits.

You will deliver and install equipment, load/unload units weighing 800–1200 pounds, perform preventive maintenance, and educate customers on upkeep while following DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment (800–1200 lbs) repeatedly for 10–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install vending and fountain equipment at customer locations using proper tools.
• Load and unload equipment and move large units as needed.
• Install fountain beverage systems from start to finish, including connections and product mix.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on vending/fountain equipment following safety standards.
• Educate customers on basic upkeep, complete required paperwork/work orders, and follow DOT regulations where applicable.

Deliver and install fountain beverage systems at customer accounts to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely, accurately, and on time.

What You'll Do

• Deliver and install vending and fountain equipment at customer locations using safe handling and proper tools
• Load and unload new and used equipment for daily deliveries, including moving large units at accounts as needed
• Install fountain beverage systems from start to finish, including connecting lines and adjusting to the proper product mix
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on vending/fountain equipment, following safety and quality standards
• Educate customers on basic equipment upkeep, complete required paperwork/work orders, and follow DOT regulations (as applicable)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid CDL { } License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position requires lifting, pushing/pulling and moving vending/fountain machines that weigh approximately 800-1200 pounds several times over 10-12 hour period (with or without accommodation)
