Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a field technician to deliver, install, and maintain vending and fountain equipment. You will load/unload machines, install systems from start to finish, perform routine maintenance, and educate customers on operation and basic repairs.

Regular visits to customer sites, accurate record-keeping, and DOT compliance are required. Responsibilities include handling equipment up to 800–1200 pounds, coordinating with store contacts, and upholding safety standards while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old; 21+ if CDL required.
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
• Able to communicate effectively in English if CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load vending and fountain units for daily delivery.
• Install and reload vendors with products as needed.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.
• Collect accurate equipment information and maintain records for each delivery.
• Maintain parts, tools, and equipment and follow DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain customer/work order records.
• Transport items such as compressors and cardboard for recycling.
• Set proper product mix during installation and adjustment.
• Establish positive customer relationships and ensure reliable attendance.
