Job summary

Cherokee Nation Businesses is seeking a Fountain Worker for Gold Strike Casino in Mississippi. You will deliver excellent guest service and assist with food and beverage service in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving and garnishing, handling cash, maintaining cleanliness, stocking products, and assisting with opening/closing duties. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a food handler in a high-volume restaurant.
• Minimum one year of guest service experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area, as applicable.
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables, and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
• Pack and complete orders as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stocking and replenishing products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, and notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
