Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is hiring a Foundry Utility Worker for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm). The role offers an hourly rate of $20.55 plus a $1.50 shift differential.

The job involves duties across Iron and Non-Ferrous Foundry areas and the grinding room, with responsibilities including mold handling, pouring, and material transport. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three months of manufacturing experience, with a 50-mile residency requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months manufacturing experience preferred.
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50 miles of LOCATION.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in Iron and Non-Ferrous Foundry areas and grinding room operations.
• Grind castings, operate band saws, dump and shakeout molds, and handle materials with forklifts or equipment.
• Assist molder with machine setup and cleaning; operate shot blast cleaning equipment; repair pouring ladles.
• Operate automatic floor sweeper and perform minor maintenance; report defective materials.
• Follow safety regulations and refer unusual situations to supervision.
