Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent.
Modeling using SolidWorks or Creo.
Experience in root cause defect analysis and resolution preferred.
2+ years of engineering experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Work with production control to ensure on-time start-up of new jobs.
Prepare documentation for tooling and sampling.
Initiate communication with customers about job status.
Collaborate with production and quality control to resolve issues.
Suggest design changes to enhance value on existing designs.
Skills
Modeling using SolidWorks
Simulation experience (MAGMASOFT preferred)
Experience in root cause defect analysis and resolution
Strong tooling background in plastics or metal stamping
Education
