Job summary

AMD's Foundry Technology & Product Optimization team is seeking a senior process technology planner to lead optimization for Semi-Custom products from pre-silicon through volume production. You will coordinate with internal engineering, foundry partners, and customers to deliver reliable, cost-effective technologies for AMD's product roadmap.

You will apply deep device physics knowledge, analytical thinking, and data-driven decision making to drive yield, reliability, and performance

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define expectations for foundry capabilities and roadmaps to meet product requirements.
• Lead new product introduction and development for Semi-Custom products from pre-silicon through high-volume production.
• Own and manage foundry technology execution across key product-development milestones.
• Perform wafer-level modeling to optimize layouts and die utilization and cost.
• Evaluate device best-known methods and drive their implementation across products.
• Monitor process targeting to achieve power, performance, area, yield, reliability, and cost objectives.
• Lead root-cause analysis and continuous process improvements related to yield and manufacturing performance.
• Serve as the technical interface among internal teams, foundry partners, and customers.
• Communicate risks, tradeoffs, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
