Job summary

EJ, a leader in design, manufacture and distribution of access solutions, seeks a Safety Coordinator for Elmira. This role promotes safety awareness, injury prevention and a strong safety culture across the organization, guiding employees toward EJ Safety Beliefs and PBS programs.

Responsibilities include training, hazard analysis, policy interpretation, data analysis, and cross- functional collaboration to improve operations and safety performance on the foundry floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read safety policies and write routine reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement.
• Supports and promotes EJ Safety Beliefs and PBS program.
• Develops/modifies job hazard analyses for all facility areas.
• Interprets policies and helps employees achieve compliance.
• Collects, analyzes, interprets data and presents findings.
• Directs training of employees to improve performance.
