Job summary

McWane Ductile in Coshocton, OH, is seeking a production supervisor to directly supervise, coordinate and plan daily production in melting, casting and finishing operations in our ductile iron foundry for waterworks. You will lead teams, drive safety and quality, and ensure production targets are met.

The role requires 3–5 years of leadership in heavy industry, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years leadership experience in heavy industry (foundry experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Observes and enforces all Safety, Environmental, and Plant policies and procedures.
• Schedules, coordinates, and oversees the daily activities of production workers.
• Trains, develops, and mentors employees.
• Motivates and encourages teamwork with direct reports to ensure production objectives are met.
• Advises and counsels production workers on performance improvement and training needs.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to achieve objectives.
• Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
• Holds self and others accountable to commitments.
• Ensures proper quality standards are maintained on products being produced.
