Job summary

Qualifications

• One-year prior foundry experience is required.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long 8–12 hour shifts.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Basic math skills and strong verbal/written communication.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply safe working methods in daily tasks.
• Operate control station to monitor and manage foundry processes.
• Analyze control signals and adjust operations as needed.
• Control melting operations and detect deviations for corrective action.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles when required.
