The Weir Group is hiring a Molder Close-up Operator in Newton, MS. This on-site role follows a 4-day workweek (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM–3:15 PM) and requires operating molding equipment, pattern management, and safe production of high-quality molds.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, lean process participation, and strong attendance. Prior experience with sand mixers and crane operation is a plus. Weir offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good reading, writing, math and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain molding equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Pattern Management: Retrieve and inspect the correct pattern per the daily schedule.
• Mold Production: Operate the sand mixer to fill molds, calibrate and maintain the continuous mixer, place cores correctly.
• Equipment Operation: Control equipment that moves molds and use the overhead crane to move molds to the pouring floor.
