The Weir Group is hiring a Foundry Technician for our Newton, MS site. This 1st shift role (5am to 3:15pm) focuses on maintaining a safe, organized foundry area and operating molding equipment efficiently.

You will participate in safety programs, ensure attendance and compliance, and support daily operations on site. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong reading/writing and math skills, and a positive attitude with good attendance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good reading, writing, math, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain molding equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Safety Management: actively participate in safety programs to maintain zero-harm culture.
• Work Area Maintenance: keep area clean and organized, hazards-free for safety and efficiency.
• Attendance and Compliance: maintain good attendance and follow policies and work instructions.
• Role Execution: monitor and support safety initiatives and adhere to operations guidelines.
• Travel: role is primarily onsite with no regular travel.
