Job summary

Eck Industries in Manitowoc, WI is hiring a general labor helper to support mold and core preparation for precision aluminum castings. You will handle materials, operate transport tools, and assist with pouring and shakeout tasks in a busy foundry environment.

Qualifications

Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

Assist with core and mold preparation, including hand filing sand cores, mixing sand/zircon, mudding and dipping cores, and supplying materials such as riser sleeves and chill blocks.
Handle materials manually and with equipment—using forklifts, carts, racks, flatbeds, pallets, and other transport tools as needed.
Support production duties, including helping with pouring and shakeout tasks.
Follow work instructions: prepare tools, identify specs, place shop order tickets, transport castings to finishing, and perform daily equipment inspections.
Maintain workplace standards by keeping the area clean, organized, and compliant with 6S requirements; perform additional duties as assigned.
