Job summary

Eck Industries, Inc. is seeking hands-on, detail-oriented workers for the Cleaning Room on the 3rd shift in Manitowoc, WI. You will decorate castings, remove gates and risers, and grind burrs to ensure quality.

You’ll inspect each casting after cleaning to confirm acceptance criteria are met. Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, and polishing surfaces, setting up finishing tools and robotic cells, and securely handling large parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred (but we’ll train the right person!).
• Good attention to detail; teamwork and a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working with your hands in an active environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of casting surfaces to identify defects.
• Grind, sand, clean, or polish castings to remove imperfections and prepare surfaces.
• Remove gates and risers using saws and hand tools; reprocess as needed.
• Set up and operate grinding equipment and other finishing tools, including robotic cells.
• Secure and handle castings using clamps and hoist assist for larger parts.
• Verify finished parts meet specifications and maintain tools and workspace cleanliness.
