Job summary

GIW Industries, Inc. (A KSB Company) is hiring for a Foundry Employee Level 1 – Melting. The role reports to the Foundry Supervisor and requires adherence to safety guidelines, PPE use, and ability to read work instructions. The candidate will work in a molten metal environment and support molding operations.

Expect to operate cranes and forklifts, set up molds, and document inspections. A high school diploma or GED is required, with willingness to work varied hours and follow SOPs precisely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to follow GIW safety guidelines and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Wear all PPE required.
• Follow all GIW Safety guidelines.
• Keeps area neat, clean, and safe.
• Secure and rope off pouring floor prior to pouring.
• Able to work any scheduled hours.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Able to follow and understand SOPs.
• Able to set up and sand in molds.
• Able to bolt up closed molds and understand bolting requirements.
• Able to inspect molds with a borescope camera.
