Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months manufacturing experience desirable.
• Ability to read work instructions and communicate with supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery using hand tools.
• Select correct pattern for each order.
• Prepare molds for drawing of patterns and repair mold impressions in sand as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Contribute to team by training others in machine operator tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work for defects prior to passing it to the next operation.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Report production quantities and times for each work order.
• Report worn pattern equipment to supervisors.
