Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Foundry Helper on 1st Shift to join our City of Industry team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will assist with loading/unloading, organize core boxes and tools, and help ensure quality results in an aerospace foundry.

The role offers overtime opportunities, benefits including medical/dental/vision/Life, 401k with employer match, paid vacation and holidays, and a quarterly bonus program.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; relevant experience considered.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work overtime and weekends.
• Able to lift 10–40 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Manufacturing/production operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and handles foundry materials and tools; transports materials between departments.
• Assists with loading/unloading casting furnaces.
• Organizes parts and tools; checks work instructions and docs for accuracy.
• Removes loose pieces from the core and assists with packing into boxes.
• Sets up and operates foundry machinery with training (belt grinder, saw, Airset, forklift).
• Maintains clean work area and participates in general department cleanup.
• Follows safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies.
