Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry, CA is seeking entry-level General Labor workers on 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am). Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will support aerospace manufacturing, inspect surfaces for defects, and grind to produce smooth, accurate castings.

Position offers heavy overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life, 401k with company match, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On the job training.

Responsibilities

• Examine and feel surface for defects.
• Operate a stand grinder to remove gates, risers, rough spots and other excess metals.
• Work with medium to large castings and maintain surface contours.
• Surface grinding to achieve smooth finishes and accurate contours.
• Sort, stack and move castings as directed.
• Pursue additional certifications and credentials as needed for work or career development.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
