Precision Castparts is seeking a Foundry Furnace Tech to operate multiple vacuum furnaces and maintain equipment to meet quality standards. The role requires recording, safety adherence, and collaboration with the team in a high-temperature foundry environment.

Responsibilities include furnace operations, PMs, material handling with a forklift, and continuous improvement while working overtime as needed. A high school diploma and short-term training complete the qualifications.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required.
• One month Basic OJT and three months training technique completed.
• Ability to lift 16-30 pounds; occasional heavier lifting with hoist.
• Willingness to work daily overtime and weekends as needed.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate 3 vacuum furnaces and record all necessary information accurately.
• Ram crucibles, change over DS susceptors/coils, and melt coils as instructed.
• Maintain furnaces through PMs and keep chambers clean for optimum performance.
• Record daily work and time distribution with operational codes.
• Follow safety rules, promote teamwork, and suggest improvements.
• Operate forklift and comply with 6S and departmental safety.
