Job summary

Hodge Foundry in Greenville, PA seeks a Coremaker to support the molding department by preparing and finishing core components. You will assemble core patterns, ram and finish cores, and prepare them for transfer to the mold area, adhering to work instructions and quality standards.

Eligible candidates include those with a four-year apprenticeship or four years in a similar foundry, and the ability to read and follow instructions with good mechanical and spatial skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman status via 4-year apprenticeship or 4 years of similar foundry experience.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written information accurately.
• Mechanical, spatial and reasoning skills with manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Transport and place core boxes on conveyor at workstation.
• Assemble core patterns in core box, ram sand, and patch cores.
• Shake out cores, finish and label cores for mold area.
