Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On the job training provided; previous manufacturing or foundry experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and stand for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify core boxes for each mold.
• Use fine motor skills for smaller pieces.
• Identify the differences in sand used in each core.
• Work with an inhibitor.
• Learn to operate 240, 250, 450, or C3 rollover machine for the largest cores.
• Use a mixer and hydraulic equipment.
• Provide communication and support to the pattern shop on pattern boxes.
• Make quality cores by following work instructions and communicating with engineering.
