Job summary

Acosta Group seeks a Platform Engineer & Operations Lead to own the Palantir Foundry and AIP ecosystem within the AI Center of Excellence. You will engineer a secure, reliable, governed platform and support product teams through design, build, deployment, and production support.

The role covers platform admin, IAM, observability, FinOps, and vendor leadership, partnering with Palantir and enterprise teams to balance speed, reliability, governance, and cost.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, data, platform, or cloud engineering; DevSecOps; SRE; enterprise integration; or related domains.
• 5+ years building or operating enterprise data, analytics, AI, developer, or cloud platforms in production.
• Hands-on Foundry platform engineering or administration and AIP delivery or operations experience.
• Experience supporting multiple delivery teams through build, deployment, go-live, stabilization, and ongoing operations in secure, governed environments.
• Experience leading vendor engineers, managed-service teams, or distributed resources.
• Deep technical capability in Foundry administration, AIP enablement, ontology governance, data pipelines, apps, actions, and integrations.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps, CI/CD, release controls, IAM/RBAC, least-privilege design, and enterprise security practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and production engineering skills; observability, SLAs/SLOs, incident response, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Understanding of APIs, enterprise integration, data movement, cloud services, and cross-platform ownership.
• Ability to connect platform consumption to cost and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Platform engineering: Own Foundry and AIP admin, environment strategy, releases, upgrades, capacity, health.
• Solution delivery: Partner with delivery teams on architecture, build, integration, testing, deployment, go-live readiness.
• Production reliability: Establish monitoring, runbooks, incident response, root-cause analysis, and recovery practices.
• DevSecOps: Establish repeatable development, testing, deployment practices with quality gates and traceability.
• Security and access: Own IAM/RBAC, least privilege, approvals, reviews, and auditable permissions.
• Ontology governance: Define standards, stewardship, lifecycle, and documentation for shared objects and relationships.
• Enterprise integration: Build secure, observable integrations across apps, APIs, data platforms, and cloud services.
• FinOps: Cost visibility, forecasting, budgeting input, and optimization reviews; guide vendor renewals.
• Vendor leadership: Set priorities, review designs, and ensure knowledge transfer and internal ownership.
• Enablement: Create onboarding guidance, templates, and playbooks; partner withPalantir and stakeholders.
