Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Valid CT teaching certification or eligibility to obtain through reciprocity.
• 2–3 years of successful teaching experience with strong student achievement.
• Ability to create a safe, structured classroom for middle school students.
• Commitment to educational equity and culturally responsive pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Plan rigorous, standards-aligned 7th/8th grade math lessons.
• Deliver high-quality instruction and differentiate for diverse learners.
