Job summary

Sela, the market leading AI voice agent for mortgage lenders, is seeking its first strategy and operations leader in San Francisco. You’ll report to the CEO and tackle the hardest problems as the company scales, starting with hiring and expanding into other business areas.

You will own who we target, how we reach them, how we evaluate and close top talent, and you’ll drive automation to replace routine work, with engineering support when needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years out of school in consulting, finance, or operating role at a fast-paced startup.
• Hungry and high-agency; you don’t wait for instructions.
• Intellectually curious and fast to learn about how a business works.

Responsibilities

• Hiring Strategy: identify target candidates, outreach, evaluation, and closing.
• Automation: build AI tools to reduce manual workload with engineering support.
• What’s next: contribute to new revenue motions, pricing models, or finance functions as needed.
