Job summary

Attis Global Ltd is seeking a founding Electrical Engineer - Power Systems to own the end-to-end spacecraft power design, including generation, storage, regulation, distribution, and harnessing. You will build power budgets for eclipse, peak loads, and mission lifecycles, sizing solar arrays and Li-ion modules while defining PCUs and protection schemes.

You will lead hands-on testing, EGSE automation, and environmental campaigns, establishing power engineering processes and scaling the hardware

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing, building, analyzing, and testing power electronics or complex electrical hardware.
• Strong fundamentals in DC-DC conversion, regulation, battery systems, schematic capture, and power budgeting.
• Lab fluency with bench instrumentation, debugging tools, and hardware test automation.
• Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR) per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of spacecraft power generation, storage, regulation, distribution, and harnessing.
• Build dynamic power and energy budgets across eclipse, peak load, and mission lifecycle phases.
• Size and specify solar array configurations, Li-ion battery modules, and protection circuitry.
• Design and specify Power Distribution & Conditioning Units (PCDU) and regulation topologies.
• Lead hands-on functional testing, EGSE test automation, and environmental campaigns (TVAC, vibration, EMI).
• Establish power engineering processes from scratch and scale the hardware team.
