Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in Northern California, USA, is hiring a Power Electronics Test Engineer to develop and implement tests for spacecraft electronics, proving power designs work across environments to achieve on-orbit success.

You will design PCBA interfaces, write Python to control test setups, and collaborate with the design team through qualification and acceptance; opportunities to help recruit as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Associate's or B.S. degree in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to turn high-level requirements into clear design and test objectives.
• Experience with debugging circuits with embedded software, from oscilloscope to scripting.
• Experience using Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design automated hardware and software solutions to test and validate electronics hardware.
• Design PCBA's to interface with flight hardware.
• Write Python scripts to control bench equipment and devices under test.
• Collaborate with design teams to provide feedback through qualification and acceptance.
• Assist in recruiting and growing the team.
