Job summary

Destro AI, a fast-growing robotics software startup, is seeking a Founding Recruiter to build and run our talent engine from day one. You will own hiring end-to-end with direct access to the founders and no ready-to-inherit playbook.

Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles, sourcing top talent, closing candidates, and shaping our hiring processes as we scale from a founding team to a larger workforce. This role is hands-on and high-velocity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience spanning sourcing to closing
• Experience hiring technical roles at startups or high-growth companies
• Strong ability to source and close passive candidates and negotiate offers

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles
• Source and close passive candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, university labs, referrals
• Build talent heatmaps and guide sourcing strategy
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role scope and urgency
• Manage offers, negotiations, and closing with founders
• Build repeatable hiring processes, templates, dashboards, and KPI reporting
• Support onboarding logistics and basic HR operations
