Job summary

OnHires is building a mobile-first, global finance platform. As a founding engineer, you’ll own major parts of the React Native app—from UI design to state management, API integrations, testing, and production releases.

You’ll work across the stack with founders, product, and design to bring ideas to life, optimize performance and reliability, and help establish engineering standards in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building and shipping production React Native applications.
• Product mindset and passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments with high ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and own major features of the React Native app end-to-end.
• Collaborate with founders, product, and design teams to bring ideas to life.
• Debug and solve complex issues across iOS, Android, APIs, and backend integrations.
• Optimize performance, animations, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Help establish engineering standards, architecture, and development best practices.
