Join an innovative early-stage technology company as their first design hire, shaping the user experience for a groundbreaking AI product. This role offers autonomy and collaboration with a high-caliber founding team, focusing on crafting intuitive interfaces that redefine software capabilities.
Our client is an early-stage technology company focused on developing intelligent software agents aimed at radically streamlining startup operations. They are reimagining how solo entrepreneurs can scale their businesses by building automation tools that don’t just optimize workflows—they replace them entirely. The company is led by a high-caliber founding team and operates with a sharp focus on speed, ownership, and product excellence.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the user experience and design language of a cutting-edge AI product. As the first design hire, you’ll play a critical role in translating a powerful backend system into a fast, intuitive, and elegant user interface. You’ll work directly with the founding team to build out the visual and interaction design from the ground up—this is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy and cares deeply about the craft of software design.

Opportunity to work on a product that is redefining what software can do.
Real ownership: shape the direction, not just the pixels.
Work side-by-side with an elite, high-velocity founding team.
No bureaucracy—just smart people building meaningful tools.
High standards for quality, combined with relentless speed.
Fully in-person culture based in New York City.
