The Handsome Hour is seeking our founding producer to own the show end to end: long-form video and audio editing, short-form clips, guest logistics, publishing, quality control, and scalable workflows. This is a part-time 1099 role around 20 hours per week with base compensation of $2,000 per month plus a performance bonus, with potential to grow into a full-time W-2.

The job is remote within the United States; New York City is strongly preferred.

Formación

• Strong portfolio of long-form and short-form video work.
• Proficiency with a professional NLE (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
• Solid audio-cleanup skills.
• Reliable communication and ability to manage weekly deadlines.
• High agency and strong editorial judgment.
• Authorized to work as a contractor in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Edit weekly multi-camera podcast episodes for YouTube and audio platforms.
• Find and cut moments that become compelling short-form clips.
• Improve pacing, audio, titles, thumbnails, packaging, and publishing quality.
• Coordinate guests and maintain the production calendar.
• Build simple, reliable workflows so hosts do not manage every detail.
