Job summary

ConvenientMD is opening a Bangor, Maine APC clinic and seeks a founding physician to lead the team and shape care delivery. You will guide multidisciplinary staff and help implement a transformative, patient-centered model combining in-person and virtual care.

You will practice high-quality primary care with extended visits, a focus on value-based care, and minimal administrative burden, while enjoying flexible schedules and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• DEA license required with no restrictions.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; outpatient primary care experience preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; online CPR/ACLS not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, patient-centered care with a focus on continuity and coordinated team-based services.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary APC team to deliver value-based care and improve patient outcomes.
• Champion value-based care and workflows that reflect Bangor community needs.
• Represent the APC clinics in public and professional settings while upholding documentation and compliance standards.
