ConvenientMD is seeking a founding physician to lead our Advanced Primary Care clinic in Waterville, Maine. You will guide a multidisciplinary team and shape care delivery in a modern, patient-centered setting that blends in-person and virtual services.

Your Impact

As a physician and leader in our APC clinics, you will:

• Provide exceptional care: Deliver personalized, patient-centered care with lower panel sizes, longer visits, and reduced administrative burden.
• Inspire and lead the team: Serve as a clinical leader, mentoring and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical pharmacists, nurses, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and medical assistants, to deliver holistic, coordinated care.
• Champion value-based care: Lead by example in adopting value-based care principles to proactively educate, navigate, and support patients throughout their healthcare journey.
• Shape the future of care: Play a key role in developing workflows and processes that reflect the needs of the Bangor community, while promoting and representing the APC clinics in public and professional settings.

Who You Are

You are an experienced and compassionate physician with a strong desire to lead and innovate in healthcare. You bring:

• Education, Licensure, & Certifications:
  • Holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with experience in outpatient primary care or a similar setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online only classes.
• Demonstrated prior experience: Has experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or ambulatory care settings (preferred).
• Compassionate,authentic, andpatient focused: Supportspatients through kindness;demonstratingunderstanding for others and contributing to the creating a community of belonging.
• Proactive and confidentcommunicator (written and verbal): Foreshadows and elevates concerns as they arise, unafraid of professional directnessboth with colleagues and patients.
• Trustworthy: Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and handle allpatient informationin accordance withHIPAA regulations.
• Effective communicator and cross collaborator: Ability toestablishand maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and stakeholders across the organization.

• Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with or ability to learn Athena as well as other business systems.

Pay Transparency

In order to maintain equity among team members, ConvenientMD has established defined salary ranges for each role. Individual pay is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, years of relevant experience, current market conditions, and budget considerations. The pay range listed reflects the potential compensation for this role within this region and encompasses the full spectrum of provider positions, from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) through Physicians. Final compensation is determined at the conclusion of the interview process. We encourage you to apply even if your desired compensation falls outside of the listed range.

In addition to base compensation, Advanced Primary Care providers at ConvenientMD are eligible for a value-based care incentive program focused on outcomes, quality, and cost-effective care. $135,000 - $290,000 USD
