Job summary

Psychiatry in Motion in Brooklyn, NY seeks its founding psychiatric nurse practitioner. You will be supervised by a board-certified psychiatrist and gradually take on your own panel after a 90-day probation, with shadowing and joint intake during onboarding.

The role supports ADHD, autism, burnout, and diagnostics, with telehealth and hybrid days. W2, part-time to start, pay 70–100 USD/hr, with a path to full-time.

Qualifications

• Active New York nurse practitioner license and PMHNP certification.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Experience with psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychiatric evaluations with documented formulation and plan.
• Initiate, titrate, taper and monitor medications.
• Perform risk and substance screening at every visit and manage documentation.
