Job summary

Path Robotics is building the future of embodied intelligence in Columbus. We are forming a Robot Learning team focused on whole-body loco-manipulation for precision tasks in heavy manufacturing.

You’ll help design the training infrastructure, data pipelines, and deployment workflows for a groundbreaking research stack. You’ll work with perception, mechanics, and robotics engineers, deploying policies on real robots and advancing sim-to-real transfer.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on robot learning experience with trained policies deployed on real hardware.
• Sim-to-real transfer experience with simulation environments and domain randomisation.
• Experience with diffusion-based or flow-matching action policies and with action chunking.

Responsibilities

• Build the robot-learning stack from the ground up, including training infrastructure, data pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Stand up ML infrastructure: training pipelines, experiment tracking, data versioning, sim-to-real workflows.
• Train policies across manipulation, locomotion, and whole-body control; handle cobots, industrial arms, and mobile platforms.
• Deploy in stages with phased rollout and collect real-world training data for continual improvement.
• Collaborate daily with mechanical, perception, robotics engineers and manufacturing domain experts.
