Job summary

Path Robotics is building the future of embodied intelligence and seeks a founding Machine Learning Engineer to help design and implement a robot-learning stack from the ground up. You will own training infrastructure, data pipelines, simulation environments, model architectures, and deployment workflows for multi-modal perception and learned action generation.

You will collaborate daily with mechanical, perception, robotics engineers and manufacturing domain experts to deploy phased rollouts

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build the team's robot-learning stack from the ground up, including training infrastructure, data pipelines, simulation environments, model architectures, and deployment workflows.
• Stand up ML infrastructure: training pipelines, experiment tracking, data versioning, reproducible sim-to-real workflows.
• Train policies across manipulation, locomotion, and whole-body control for legged platforms, ensuring real-time accuracy at the tool.
• Deploy in stages with a phased rollout to accumulate training data for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate daily with mechanical, perception, robotics engineers, and manufacturing domain experts.
