Job summary

Path Robotics in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for Robot Learning to advance perception, control, and planning for industrial robots. You will develop and deploy ML-based manipulation and planning algorithms across a fleet of robotic cells.

You'll collaborate with hardware and software teams, publish research results, and help push the boundaries of embodied intelligence in real-world applications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Robotics or related field.
• Experience publishing at top conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.).
• Experience with robotic simulation tools and ML for robot manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy BC, RL, and diffusion models for robotic tasks.
• Leverage multi-modal data (images, force, torque) to enhance manipulation and control.
• Design vision-language-action (VLA) models for intelligent robotic systems.
• Plan data collection, fleet learning, and continuous learning workflows.
• Develop, optimize, and deploy learning-based robot control and manipulation algorithms.
