Savannah Search Ltd. is partnering with a well-funded AI startup to appoint its Founding Marketing Lead in San Francisco. You will own paid acquisition, refine messaging, and drive content-driven growth to build the marketing function from scratch.

The role demands hands-on execution across channels, strong product marketing acumen, and the ability to scale a small team as the company grows, with on-site work five days a week in SF.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years’ experience in B2B product marketing and growth marketing.
• Hands-on experience running paid campaigns across channels (Google, LinkedIn, Reddit).
• Experience with SEO/GEO and content-led growth.
• Evidence of generating measurable pipeline, inbound demos, or self-service sign-ups.
• Ability to build marketing infrastructure and playbooks from scratch.
• Experience in fast-growing B2B SaaS or AI-native startups.
• Highly analytical, practical and entrepreneurial approach.

Responsibilities

• Own paid acquisition across Google, LinkedIn, Reddit and emerging channels, managing budgets scaling beyond $30,000 per month.
• Develop the company’s messaging, positioning and market narrative.
• Drive SEO and GEO strategies to increase inbound demonstrations and self-service sign-ups.
• Build the content engine across landing pages, case studies, customer stories, newsletters, launch content and sales materials.
• Translate complex AI technology into clear, commercially compelling messaging.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design and Sales on launches and go-to-market strategy.
• Track campaign performance and continually improve channel mix, CAC and pipeline contribution.
• Help build and recruit the wider marketing team as the company scales.
