Job summary

STA seeks a founding Head of Marketing to translate market and customer insights into a focused strategy that drives pipeline, revenue growth, and customer expansion. You will partner with the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer to shape go-to-market, messaging, and programs for a highly technical grid-tech product.

The role is remote, PST time zone based, with equity and a strong base compensation in a fast-growing, backable addressable market.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise marketing experience in complex sales cycles.
• Experience translating technical products into business value for utilities or enterprise buyers.
• Proven track record building strategy from first principles and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape the GTM strategy with the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer.
• Own product marketing including positioning, messaging, and sales plays.
• Develop an account-based motion targeting priority utilities and buying groups.
• Establish market credibility through thought leadership, customer proof, and events.
• Stand up the marketing function with operating model, KPIs, budget, and resources.
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team and leverage AI-enabled workflows.
